COREY A. CAIN, Owner/Boot Camp Coach
Biography
Corey Cain- (www.coreycain.com) Corey's passion for fitness started at a very young age. His interest in physical fitness and the body began when his father brought home a barbell and an assortment of different weights. Throughout his schooling he stayed physically active playing several sports for his high school. He then went on to play collegiate football and received a bachelor's degree in Sports Exercise Science.
Corey's journey then took him to the Twin Cities in Minnesota where he became one of the areas youngest prominent trainers. After a sufficient length of time he decided to make his way back to the Omaha Metro Area where he has established himself as a well known fitness expert. He has been quoted numerous times by the Omaha World Herald on subjects concerning obesity, child obesity, and fitness trends for women. He has also made several appearances on the local news concerning fitness programming and weight loss management.
Omaha is home for Corey, however; in recent past he has trained professional athletes in Las Vegas and west coast area. In Omaha he trains some of the most prolific high school athletes and runs Omaha Adventure Boot Camp, he is the only Certified Boot Camp instructor in the Omaha area.
Corey has been involved and worked with Boot Camp programs and instructors throughout the country. JEFF LEISE, Boot Camp Coach/Certified Personal Trainer
Biography
Jeff Leise has been involved in athletics and physical training since he was a young child. Jeff played multiple sports through high school and played college baseball at the University of Nebraska, where he was able to play in the 2001 and 2002 College World Series. He also played one year of professional baseball in the San Diego Padres organization. Jeff won many awards in his college baseball career, including Big XII Sportsperson of the Year, Academic All-American of the Year, 1st Team All-American, and All-Big XII. He was also recognized as the University's team Lifter of the Year in 2002. Jeff was first introduced to strength and conditioning as a freshman in high school. Ever since then he has had a passion for health, fitness, and sports training. After his baseball career he competed in the Lincoln half marathon in 2004, and continues to train for sprint triathlons. He is always trying to get
the most out of himself, and also get the most out of others. Jeff is a NESTA Certified Personal Trainer and a baseball training instructor for young athletes at The Strike Zone in Omaha.

MELISSA PATTERSON, Boot Camp Coach/Certified Personal Trainer
Biography
Melissa Patterson's life has been about health and fitness for as long as she can remember. She was first introduced to sports at age 3. As a child, she would go swimming every chance she got and during the summer months, she began competing in swimming at the pool her family were members of. Melissa also swam competitively in high school, for club swimming, and played softball through middle school; but her true passion when she was younger was dance. She danced ballet, jazz, and tap as a child and was a cheerleader in middle school. She was also a member of the Millard West Dance Team in high school. During college, Melissa didn’t compete in sports so she had to find other ways of staying fit and healthy. She joined a gym and her passion for fitness continued. Today, Melissa enjoys motivating others to better themselves with both exercise and healthy life choices. She continues to guide many friends and family to make healthier choices for themselves regarding food and fitness through diet and exercise programs. Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in Food Science which led her to conduct product development for food lines such as Kid’s Cuisine and Healthy Choice. While working to develop foods for Healthy Choice, Melissa was able to utilize her background in nutrition and support the development of nutritionally responsible foods. She found the work to be truly fulfilling, as it allowed her to take part in creating foods which support her ideals for balanced, healthy eating. <
/p> Melissa values a lifestyle that promotes taking care of her body with exercise and healthy eating. Sharing her knowledge of fitness with others is something that she hopes to continue throughout her life. She has a powerful steady drive to continue learning and is working towards a master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics.

CHRISTEN BOECKEL, Boot Camp Coach/Certified Personal Trainer
Biography
Christen Boeckel’s enthusiasm for sports and fitness has grown and developed since she first started playing soccer at the age of 5. An Olathe, Kansas native, Christen was a multi-sport athlete during high school; qualifying for state in three different sports in 2001, while also a member of the Olathe East Dance Team. Earning a number of honors for athletics during high school, Christen was also named the U.S. Army Scholar Athlete of the year in 2002. Following high school, Christen attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha to play soccer, where she was a member of the 2005 NCAA National Championship team. Along with her and her team’s success on the field, Christen also found success in the classroom, twice earning all-conference academic honors.
Christen earned a bachelor’s degree and completed a year long internship with University of Nebraska’s athletic department before returning to the Omaha area to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry. To Christen, health and fitness is a way of life that has allowed her to maintain a fulfilling, active lifestyle. Christen finds that staying fit has everything to do with variety and enjoyment, both in the aspects of nutrition and fitness. Sh
e enjoys training for local charity runs and has embarked on the process of training for her first half marathon with the encouragement of one of her older sisters. Christen thrives off of pushing herself, and has benefited from the immense personal gains she has made through being able to push others as well. In addition to Omaha Adventure Boot Camp, Christen is also a youth soccer coach for Challenger Sports. Christen also plans to return to school to attain first a Master’s and then a Ph.D in social psychology in order to become a college professor in the field of psychology.

KRISTI OLECHOSKI, Boot Camp Coach/Certified Personal Trainer
Biography
Kristi has had a passion for sports, fitness, and healthy living as long as she can remember. She played varsity volleyball, basketball, and soccer in high school. Volleyball became her main love and she playe
d in many club and national tournaments both in high school and college. During her time at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln Kristi turned her attention to individual fitness goals as well. Kristi ran her first half marathon her sophomore year in Lincoln and since then has run five others. Kristi also ran the Chicago full marathon and completed the Okoboji triathlon last summer. Kristi is always up for new fitness challenges and enjoys getting others involved with her as well. Kristi looks forward to boot camp, as she knows it gives people both variety and a great workout each class. Kristi looks forward to helping others achieve their fitness goals and continuing to promote healthy lifestyles.

KATIE MAY, Assistant Trainer
Biography
Katie May is a 2003 graduate from Chillicothe High School in Chillicothe, Missouri where she participated in Varsity Softball, Basketball, and Track. Katie is currently a senior at Northwest Missouri State University, receiving her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Corporate Recreation and Wellness, where upon graduation she will be returning to Northwest to complete graduate work in Applied Health Science. While attending Northwest, Katie became interested in health and wellness; she also developed a passion for healthy lifestyles, and personal fitness. She has worked with the Northwest Fitness Center as a group fitness instructor where she coordinated individual fitness programs, personal training, and helped implement group fitness classes for the first time at NWMSU.

DEREK HUMMEL, Assistant Trainer
Biography
Derek Hummel is a 2002 Graduate from Le Mars Gehlen Catholic High School and was a participant in numerous athletic activities. Currently a senior at Northwest Missouri State University, Derek is working on receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Corporate Recreation and Wellness, where upon graduation he will be returning to Northwest to complete graduate work in Applied Health Science. Derek was first introduced to strength training and conditioning during his sophomore year of high school and it has been his passion ever since. Over the past year he worked as the assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Northwest Missouri State University baseball team where he helped design and implement all in-season and off-season work for the athletes including plyo-metrics, calisthenics, cardio, and weight training.

JERRY JACOBI, Physical Therapist
Biography
Jerry Jacobi attended Creighton University for undergraduate and Physical Therapy School, graduating in 1997. Initially worked for the Institute for Athletic Medicine in Edina, (Minneapolis) Minnesota before returning to Omaha in 1999. Current clinic location is 168th & Center in Omaha. JOHN SPENCER ELLIS, Support Staff
Biography
John Spencer Ellis has been involved with health and fitness since the age of 12 and has become one of the most diversely trained fitness professionals in the United States. He holds two bachelors degrees (business and health science), an MBA, and a doctorate in education. He has more than fifteen certifications, which include being a certified massage therapist, plyometric instructor, self-defense instructor, fitness kick boxing instructor, water fitness instructor, exercise rehabilitation specialist, golf conditioning specialist, Pilates instructor, personal trainer, clinical hypnotherapist, master PACE circuit training instructor, and yoga instructor. John has a 2nd degree black belt in kung-fu, has completed the Ironman triathlon and finished 5th in the U.S. National Biathlon (run/bike) Championships. He has extensive training in mind-body fitness and alternative health. John is the author of "How Badly Do you Want It? - Your Ultimate Guide to Optimal Fitness." His fitness articles and interviews have been featured in over 30 publications, and he is a frequent consultant to the world's media on health, fitness and lifestyle topics. The combination of John's formal education, practical experience and fun approach to exercise, have made his camps very exciting and popular.
